Notes on 2D Ultrasound

For 2D ultrasound examinations, there is no special attention needed when performing most of the organs, except for abdominal ultrasound examinations, such as liver, gallbladder and gallbladder system and pancreas examinations, which require more than eight hours of fasting. In addition, when performing examinations of the common bile duct and pancreatic diseases, some of them require drinking water to fill the stomach for the examination. When performing urinary and reproductive system examinations, it is necessary to drink a lot of water and hold urine to fill the bladder before examining through the bladder transillumination window. All of these requirements are for better and clearer display of the examined organs to improve the diagnosis of diseases.
