The San Jiao Meridian of the Shaoyang is a meridian that starts from the ulnar side of the ring finger (Guanchong acupoint), runs along the ulnar edge of the ring finger, passes over the dorsum of the hand, comes out from between the two bones of the forearm on the extensor side (ulna and radius), passes straight up through the elbow, goes along the lateral side of the upper arm, travels upward to the shoulder, exits the back of the Shaoyang Meridian of the foot and enters the lack of basin, spreads out to the pericardium at the Danzhong acupoint of the Ren Vein, and passes down through the diaphragm and is widely distributed in all the three jiao. Hand Shaoyang Sanjiao meridian is one of the twelve meridians, referred to as Sanjiao meridian, belonging to the upper, middle and lower triple jiao. Diseases occurring in this meridian mainly manifest as deafness, tinnitus, sore throat, pain in the corner of the eye of the external Sanjiao meridian, sweating, parotid gland enlargement, pain in the back of the ear, shoulder, elbow, arm where this meridian passes through, and so on.
