Chordoma generally does not heal on its own and is characterized by aggressive or malignant toxic tumors, slow growth, difficulty in healing, headaches, etc. It should be treated in a standardized manner as prescribed by the doctor. The treatment methods of chordoma generally include surgery, radiation therapy and so on.
1. Surgical treatment
(1) Intra-tumor scraping: Generally, the tumor tissue can be partially scraped off, but it may result in unclean scraping, and the residual tumor may recur or metastasize in distant places.
(2) Radical tumor resection: it is the ideal method to cure chordoma.
(2) Radiotherapy: local adjuvant radiotherapy is usually available after surgery.
If chordoma disease is diagnosed, it is recommended to carry out standardized treatment as early as possible to reduce the adverse effects of the disease.
