The active ingredients in the water are limited and generally do not have a therapeutic effect. Astragalus has the effects of strengthening the spleen and tonifying the middle, elevating yang and lifting up the sun (to elevate the yang qi of the organism in order to lift up the sunken organs), and diuretic, etc. It can be used to treat deficiency of qi and blood, deficiency of the lungs, spleen and qi, and self-sweating (involuntary sweating during the daytime, aggravated by sweating with a slight movement). Adverse effects and contraindications are not clear. Maitong has the effects of nourishing yin and moistening the lungs (nourishing the lungs by replenishing the lung fluid), clearing the heart and removing vexation (clearing the vexation and heat within the heart), benefiting the stomach and generating fluids (nourishing the stomach by replenishing the fluids within the stomach), and it can be used to treat the symptoms of dryness of the mouth and tongue, dryness of the nose and pharynx, and dryness of coughing and phlegm, which are caused by yin deficiency of the lung and stomach; and the symptoms of palpitations (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic attacks), and palpitation (rapid heartbeat and panic), caused by yin deficiency of the heart. Adverse reactions are not clear, deficiency cold diarrhea, wind-cold or cold phlegm cough and asthma are prohibited. It should be noted that if there are symptoms, it is recommended to consult a doctor in a timely manner and follow the doctor’s instructions to standardize the treatment. Self-medication is not recommended to avoid delaying the condition.
