The main purpose of rechecking glucose tolerance is to judge the function of pancreatic islets and the effect of treatment, the whole check is the same as the 1st glucose tolerance test: 75g of glucose is dissolved in 250ml of water and taken orally within 5 minutes, blood is drawn to test the glucose before taking the glucose, and after taking the glucose orally for 30 minutes, 60 minutes, 120 minutes, and 180 minutes, during which time, no food is allowed to be eaten, and no strenuous exercise is allowed. By reviewing the glucose tolerance status, if the blood glucose improves, the original treatment can be continued; if the glucose tolerance status is still abnormal, the treatment program needs to be adjusted, and it should be standardized under the guidance of clinicians.
