What to do when your skin sweats and drowns in the summer

Summer skin sweating and drowning (i.e., maceration) need to be treated according to the cause of the disease, which may be physiological factors or pathological factors (e.g., eczema, tinea corporis and other diseases), and can be relieved through general treatment, medication and other ways to alleviate the symptoms.
1. Physiological factors: patients with localized skin soaked in sweat for a long time can lead to localized maceration, especially in the skin folds, resulting in drowning of the skin. Patients need to pay attention to local skin dry and clean, body sweating in time to wipe off or replace dry clothing, while avoiding local scratching and so on.
2. Pathologic factors:
(1) eczema: the disease is internal and external inflammatory skin disease caused by various reasons, hot weather, sweat stimulation can lead to the disease.
Patients need to keep the local dry and clean, avoid scratching, and change dry cotton clothes. If local oozing occurs, boric acid solution can be used externally as a local wet compress; after no oozing, hydrocortisone cream, mometasone furoate cream and other glucocorticosteroid ointment can be used externally under the guidance of a physician, but also under the guidance of a physician, oral loratadine, cetirizine and other antihistamine medication.
(2) ringworm: when the human skin is infected by fungi, coupled with the excessive secretion of sweat in the hot summer weather, it will make the diseased parts appear impregnated.
Patients need to pay attention to personal hygiene, local avoid scratching, close clothing and clothing need to be thoroughly disinfected. Local oozing can be used topical ketoconazole lotion, terbinafine spray and other antifungal drugs, no oozing can be used topical miconazole cream, terbinafine cream and other antifungal ointment; when the symptom is serious, you can take itraconazole and other antifungal drugs to treat.
It is recommended that the summer skin sweating drowning patients to the hospital in a timely manner, after a clear diagnosis by the physician according to the patient’s condition for treatment, do not self-medication.
