Can a torn tendon heal itself

Patients with tendon tears can sometimes heal themselves, while sometimes they need to be treated, as follows: First, they can heal themselves: partial tears of tendons and tears of tendon stops can sometimes be fixed by braces and casts to promote healing of tendons and tendon stops, and tendons repair themselves, usually after 4-6 weeks. Secondly, surgery is needed: complete tears of tendons, even with conservative treatment, are usually difficult to cure, but require surgical repair, including ligament stop reconstruction and ligament reconstruction, in order to restore the function of the ligaments. Therefore, after a tendon rupture occurs in a patient, the appropriate treatment method should be chosen according to the different degrees of injury. If the injury is mild, it can heal itself with simple fixation, while if the injury is severe and conservative treatment is ineffective, only surgical treatment can be performed to repair it.
