What are the harmful effects of belly breathing?

Abdominal breathing is a normal form of respiration and is not harmful to the body.
Abdominal breathing is a type of breathing in which the diaphragm is the main movement, and the lower part of the thorax and the upper abdomen are more active; while thoracic breathing is the main movement of intercostal muscles. Both types of respiratory movements are present to varying degrees in our daily life, so abdominal breathing is not harmful to the human body.
It is only in certain pathological conditions that abdominal breathing is enhanced in the body. For example, in the case of pneumonia, pleurisy or severe tuberculosis, as well as in the case of rib fractures, there is a weakening of thoracic respiration and an increase in abdominal respiration.
If the patient has any uncomfortable symptoms, it is recommended to actively go to the hospital for a clear diagnosis, so as not to delay the condition.
