Comminuted pelvic fractures are most often caused by powerful and violent trauma, often accompanied by severe multiple injuries. Different treatments are chosen for different conditions of the fracture, and the treatment includes first aid treatment to maintain basic vital signs and treatment for the fracture itself. 1. First aid treatment to maintain basic vital signs. Pelvic fracture is often accompanied by serious multiple injuries, need to monitor the basic vital signs, and if accompanied by shock, should quickly set up intravenous rehydration channel to maintain blood volume. Subsequently, imaging and diagnostic laparotomy should be performed to screen for internal organ injuries. According to the situation, request the relevant departments to cooperate in the treatment of serious combined injuries. 2. Treat the fracture itself. Different types and degrees of comminuted pelvic fractures are treated differently. For non-displaced sacrococcygeal fracture, marginal pelvic fracture and mild simple pubic symphysis separation, non-surgical treatment can be chosen, mainly bed rest. For displaced pelvic fractures and double pelvic ring fractures with broken pelvic ring, internal fixation with plate screws after surgical reduction is often used. In addition, minimally invasive pelvic fracture dislocation surgery has become a new option for pelvic injuries in recent years. If a comminuted pelvic fracture is suspected, it should be seen promptly to avoid delay.
