What does moderate atherosclerosis mean

Moderate atherosclerosis refers to the appearance of more obvious atherosclerosis, which is generally a physiological phenomenon of normal aging if it occurs in older people and does not require further examination and treatment. However, if it occurs at an earlier age and is accompanied by symptoms caused by blockage or narrowing of blood vessels, we are reminded that further examination should be carried out and treatment should be provided according to the situation. At the same time, we should strictly control the triggers of atherosclerosis, including high blood pressure, high blood lipids, high blood sugar, obesity and smoking, and adopt a healthy diet, suggesting reference to the Mediterranean diet, as well as active physical exercise, in order to avoid atherosclerosis to continue to develop and lead to more serious consequences.
