Most cases of embryonic abortion are accompanied by a small amount of bleeding or mild abdominal pain, and in a few cases there is no bleeding, but the symptoms of early pregnancy such as vomiting, nausea and chest distension gradually decrease or disappear. In early pregnancy without bleeding or abdominal pain, two obstetric examinations can be done, usually at 7-8 weeks and 11-13 weeks of menopause. The first test is to determine early intrauterine pregnancy and fetal survival, and the second test is an early Down’s syndrome screening to rule out congenital malformations by measuring the thickness of the nuchal translucency layer. In case of bleeding, ectopic pregnancy, biochemical pregnancy, pre-eclampsia or embryonic abortion should be ruled out, and physical examination should not be done according to the regular obstetric examination time, and medical examination and medication for fetal preservation should be done under the guidance of the doctor, usually once in 7-10 days, and check at the hospital anytime when abdominal pain worsens or bleeding increases.
