How to correct feet that flare out

Fractures, congenital factors, and poliomyelitis can cause the foot to flare out, also known as hallux valgus, and should be treated with surgery, braces, and glucocorticoids.
1. Fracture: If there is a history of trauma or an open wound on the foot before the onset of hallux valgus, it is considered that the hallux valgus is caused by a fracture. You should consult a doctor for local wound debridement and fracture repositioning under the doctor’s guidance.
2. Congenital factors: Congenital factors lead to impaired function of foot-related supporting ligaments, imbalance of the strength of the pronator teres and pronator teres muscles, and there is a certain genetic predisposition, which can be corrected through surgical methods.
3. Poliomyelitis: acute infectious disease caused by poliovirus infection, children under 5 years of age, patients will have fever, headache, sore throat, flaccid paralysis after invasion of the nerves and foot exostosis and other symptoms. Glucocorticosteroids such as hydrocortisone can be used to slow down the condition under doctor’s supervision during acute attacks.
The foot flares out should go to the hospital in time, under the guidance of the doctor to standardize the treatment, do not blindly use their own medication.
