It is possible for a concussion to cause vomiting. A concussion is a mild cranial injury in which the patient presents with a brief history of coma immediately after the injury, with the duration of the coma usually ranging from a few minutes to no more than 30 minutes. Patients often have retrograde amnesia and are unable to recall the circumstances of the injury after the injury, with no intracranial hemorrhage suggested by cranial CT or MRI. Patients often have a combination of headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, insomnia, anxiety, as well as memory loss and slowed thinking. These symptoms usually disappear slowly with quiet rest, but in some patients these symptoms are more pronounced and the condition recurs, so it is possible for concussion patients to experience nausea and vomiting.
