Hemangiomas of the tongue are more common, especially in children after birth, and there are also more of these hemangiomas. Current treatment can be divided into the following parts: first, surgical treatment to remove the hemangioma; second, sclerotherapy; and third, laser treatment. All three of these treatments can achieve the purpose of eradication. However, the treatment needs to depend on which type of hemangioma it is, whether it is spongy, of arterial or venous origin, and different treatment methods are chosen according to different situations. So far, medical developments have been more effective in the treatment of hemangiomas. Generally, cavernous hemangiomas on the tongue are predominant, so basically sclerosing agents or chemotherapeutic drugs like pinyamycin with lidocaine and hormones can be used to eliminate the hemangioma completely by localizing the drug. Secondly, it can be knocked out directly by laser. Alternatively, if it is more prone to recurrence and more difficult to operate, it can be surgically removed. At present, surgical excision is in the back of the list and is not the first choice of treatment because it is an invasive operation. Basically, sclerotherapy and laser treatment can achieve the treatment goal.
