What are the symptoms of a meningioma

Depending on the location and size of the tumor, meningioma may have different symptoms. The most common ones are headache, dizziness, numbness and weakness of limbs, speech dysfunction, epileptic convulsions and so on, but there are also many patients with no special symptoms.
1. Frontal lobe meningioma may produce headache, cognitive decline, numbness and weakness of limbs and a series of other symptoms.
2. Temporal lobe meningioma, which may produce seizures and convulsions.
3. Parietal lobe meningioma, which is often characterized by numbness, pain and discomfort in the limbs.
4. Occipital lobe meningioma, which may affect vision and cause vision loss and visual field defects.
5. Cerebellar meningioma, patients may have ataxia, unsteady walking, vertigo and other manifestations.
6. Ventral meningioma of brainstem may cause incontinence, choking and coughing.
The location and size of the meningioma may cause different symptoms. It is recommended to consult the neurosurgery department, improve the examination of CT or MRI, and judge the condition under the guidance of the doctor.
