Traditional Chinese medicine nutritional perspective that drinking white sugar water is neither fire nor fire.
Sugar for the plant sugar cane stems in the liquid juice refined into crystals, also known as white sugar, white frost sugar, its nature of the flat, sweet taste, the spleen meridian, lung meridian, with the production of fluid and moist dryness, and in the ease of emergency (through the regulation of the spleen and stomach to ease the pain) of the efficacy of the treatment of lung dry cough, spleen and stomach weakness, epigastric (abdominal) pain and other conditions. White sugar is also a common food.
The term “fire” is a folk saying, usually associated with hot and spicy foods, overwork, and mental stress. The common manifestations are redness, swelling, heat and pain in the skin and mucous membranes of the mouth, tongue, gums, throat, nose and other parts of the body, with or without systemic symptoms.
Foods that cause fire are commonly found in fried and roasted items, peppercorns, chili peppers, peppercorns, wine, scallions and other spicy things; fire-reducing foods are commonly found in green beans, watermelon, amaranth, lotus root, chrysanthemums and so on.
Daily diet should be light, avoiding heat and fire. If there is any discomfort, it is recommended to use medication after identification by a TCM doctor.
