Adverse effects of doxorubicin hydrochloride liposome injection include red urine, myelosuppression, gastrointestinal reactions (nausea and vomiting, and loss of appetite), alopecia, and localized reactions.
Red urine side effects usually subside in about two days; gastrointestinal side effects may take about two to four weeks to subside; myelosuppression side effects usually take about three weeks to return to normal; and alopecia side effects have a higher incidence and usually take at least one to two months to return to growth.
