The purpose of pre-cooled slides is mainly to produce chromosome specimens. In the process of cell chromosome specimen titration, the cells will fall from the height, touch the pre-cooled slide rupture, the cell membrane is more likely to rupture in the cold so that the chromosomes are dispersed, so the pre-cooling temperature of the slide is a very important part. The purpose of pre-cooling the slide is to make the chromosomes of the cell nucleus more easily dispersed. Insufficient cooling of the slide will affect the attachment and spreading of chromosomes, which will directly determine the success of karyotype analysis. Therefore, the slides used in the existing titration process are pre-cooled in the refrigerator and then placed in a pre-cooled box with water to keep the slides at a low temperature. This provides a prerequisite for successful cell specimen preparation.
