Facial acne is generally referred to as acne. Facial acne can be treated through general treatment, topical medication, oral medication and physical therapy.
1. General treatment: usually need to pay attention to the use of water or mild cleanser, wash the skin of excess keratin or oil, to reduce acne; pay attention to skin moisturizing, to avoid over-drying of the skin; do not use your hands to squeeze or scratch the local; diet to avoid spicy and stimulating or oily and sweet food, eat more light and easy to digest food.
2. Topical medication: If the symptoms are mild, you can use topical retinoic acid medication, such as the first generation of retinoic acid ointment, to exfoliate the epidermis, remove sebum, and reduce the symptoms; topical benzoyl peroxide, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and dissolve acne; topical antibiotic ointment, such as mupirocin ointment and fusidic acid ointment, for anti-infective treatment; and azelaic acid ointment, to dissolve acne.
3. Oral medication: for moderate to severe acne, oral antibiotic treatment, such as minocycline, etc.; for fulminant acne, oral glucocorticoid treatment, such as prednisone, etc.; if there are women with high androgen levels, oral contraceptives, such as ethinyl estradiol cyproterone tablets, can be taken.
4. Physical therapy: Red light, blue light, laser, intense pulsed light and other physical therapy to remove acne and reduce hyperpigmentation.
