Instructions for use of metronidazole tablets

Metronidazole tablets, currently widely used in the treatment of anaerobic infections, are mainly indicated for the treatment of intestinal and extra-intestinal amebiasis, but also for the treatment of vaginal trichomoniasis, pouch worm disease and cutaneous leishmaniasis, guinea worm infections and so on. Metronidazole tablets are used orally, the usual dosage for adults: for the treatment of intestinal amebiasis, 2-3 tablets once, 3 times a day, 7 days as a course of treatment. For extraintestinal amebiasis, 3-4 tablets 1 time, 3 times a day, 20 days as a course of treatment. If treating trichomoniasis, 1 tablet 1 time, 4 times a day, 7 days as a course of treatment, you can use suppositories at the same time. If used for infections with anaerobic bacteria, take 3-6 tablets orally 3 times a day in 3 divided doses for 7-10 days as a course of treatment.
