What is a parenchymal nodule in the lung?

Substantial nodules in the lungs are mostly occupying lesions of the lungs. The most common are benign lesions, such as inflammatory pseudotumors, which are substantial nodules with fibrosis and calcification following control of chronic infection caused by a pathogenic agent. Examples include pneumonia caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella, etc. In addition, relatively rare substantial nodules of the lung are malignant in nature, such as bronchopulmonary carcinoma and alveolar cell carcinoma. In this case, solid nodules in the lung are malignant tumors and require early surgery and supplemented with radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatment to achieve a possible cure.
