What to do if you have a headache in the late stages of a brain tumor

The advanced stage of brain tumor can cause severe headache due to tumor metastasis and increased intracranial pressure, etc. The pain can be relieved by changing body position, taking oral painkillers, reducing intracranial pressure and local radiotherapy.
1. Changing body position: patients with brain tumor can relieve headache by changing bed position, such as semi-recumbent position or lateral position.
2. Oral painkillers: those with mild pain can take ibuprofen and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs orally to relieve pain, and those with poor effect can take morphine, oxycodone hydrochloride and other opioid painkillers orally under the guidance of doctor. This type of drug is a controlled substance, there is a certain degree of addiction, must be used in strict compliance with medical advice.
