Transvaginal examination found a 44×37 structure in the left adnexa, this means that transvaginal ultrasound found a 44×37 mm occupying lesion in the left adnexal area, this occupying lesion may be benign or malignant.
1. If transvaginal ultrasound examination reveals a 44 x 37 mm cystic mass in the left adnexal area, the ultrasound can be reviewed after the menstrual period is cleaned up. If this cyst disappears, it means that it is a physiologic ovarian cyst, for example, it may be a corpus luteum cyst. If the cyst does not disappear, it may be an ovarian chocolate cyst, which is a manifestation of endometriosis.
2. If vaginal ultrasound examination reveals a 44 x 37 mm solid mass or cystic solid mass in the left adnexa, surgery is generally recommended, and pathologic examination is done after surgery to determine the nature of the mass, for example, it may be ovarian cancer, or ovarian teratoma.
Transvaginal ultrasound suggests that there is an abnormal mass in the left adnexal region, which should be promptly consulted for a definite diagnosis.
