Dangers of anterior uterine position in pregnancy

Anterior uterine position is not harmful to pregnancy and placenta previa is prone to bleeding in late pregnancy. Bleeding in late pregnancy is considered to be caused by placenta previa and must require a cesarean section to end the pregnancy. Anterior uterine pregnancy is harmless if the placenta is attached to the body of the uterus, above the site of the prenatal exposure. Anterior uterine pregnancies, as the fetus develops, will show earlier than posterior uterine pregnancies, mainly because the uterus is in an anteriorly tilted position. Avoid sex in early and late pregnancy, and avoid tub baths during pregnancy to avoid inducing infections. When having sex during pregnancy, the anterior uterus tends to stimulate the body of the uterus to cause uterine contractions. Uterine contractions will be mild abdominal discomfort, obviously feel the contractions, contractions can cause premature labor in severe cases.
