Chenpi and hua tangerine red are different in terms of drug source, efficacy and main treatment. 1. Origin: Chenpi is the dried mature fruit rind of Citrus sinensis, family Rutaceae, and Huaganghong is the immature or nearly mature outer fruit rind of Huazhou pomelo, family Rutaceae. 2. Effects: Chenpi has the effects of regulating qi and strengthening the spleen (regulating qi and strengthening the spleen), drying dampness and resolving phlegm (removing phlegm by drying dampness). Tangerine red has the effects of drying dampness and resolving phlegm, regulating qi and eliminating food. 3. Indications: Chen Pi can be used to treat vomiting, hiccups, coughing up phlegm, chest paralysis (chest tightness and pain) and other conditions. Tangerine red is mostly used to treat wind-cold cough, chest tightness, food accumulation (food indigestion and accumulation in the stomach), belching (hiccups) and other conditions. Patients with Qi or Yin deficiency should not use the above medication.
