Vitiligo is mainly treated with medication, surgery and physical therapy.
1. medication is divided into local drugs and systemic drugs.
Topical medication: In the early and progressive stages of limited vitiligo, glucocorticoid drugs (betamethasone) are given in a timely manner to help restore skin color. In the stabilized stage, topical calcium-modulated phosphatase inhibitors (tacrolimus) and vitamin D3 derivatives (calcipotriol) can be used.
Systemic medication: a combination of oral plus intramuscular glucocorticoid medication can quickly stabilize the condition, and commonly used drugs include compound betamethasone.
2. Surgical treatment. For the condition of stable limited vitiligo, can use autologous epidermal skin piece transplantation, tiny skin piece transplantation and other surgical methods of treatment.
3. Physical therapy. Treatment with Q755nm, Q532nm laser or 308mm and NB-UVB excimer light can help improve the symptoms of vitiligo.
As the size of the lesion area will directly affect the treatment effect as well as the treatment program, the specific circumstances need to first ask the doctor for an interview.
