Can a grade 2 glioma heal on its own?

Grade 2 gliomas generally do not heal on their own.
Gliomas are intracranial tumors that originate from glial cells, and are among the most prevalent of brain tumors, more complex to treat, and difficult to cure. According to the degree of similarity between tumor cell morphology and normal glial cells, they can be classified as astrocytomas, oligodendrogliomas, ventricular meningiomas, medulloblastomas and other types.
Grade II glioma is generally considered as a low-grade glioma, which mainly occurs in young and middle-aged people, and will not only not heal on its own without treatment, but will also develop progressively and even deteriorate rapidly. Early surgical treatment can alleviate the occupying effect and improve the symptoms, and after the surgery, patients should follow the doctor’s instructions to have adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
It is recommended that patients with grade II glioma should go to regular hospitals as early as possible and be actively treated under the guidance of doctors to avoid delaying their condition.
