Non-functional pituitary microadenomas in children are usually treated by conservative treatment, surgery and radiation therapy. 1. Conservative treatment: If it is too difficult or impossible to remove the microadenomas in the pituitary gland, conservative treatment methods need to be considered, such as using injections to replenish the hormones that the pituitary gland dysfunction fails to secrete completely, such as growth hormone, sex hormone and so on, to avoid the children’s psychological problems due to the malfunction of the pituitary gland. 2. Surgery: Although the age of the sick child is relatively young and surgery is not recommended to treat this disease, the surgical method can remove the tumor to achieve the purpose of treating the disease, in addition, after the surgery, the patient should be given more vitamin-rich foods to improve the child’s immune system. 3. Radiotherapy: If the tumor cannot be completely removed by surgery or is not suitable for surgery, as well as recurrence after surgery, the tumor is not big, and surgery is not suitable for the time being, radiotherapy can be given. Radiotherapy can relieve symptoms and control tumor development. If children are found to suffer from non-functional pituitary microadenoma, they should go to the hospital for treatment in time, so as to avoid delaying the condition and endangering children’s health, in addition, they should also eat more fruits for children to improve their immunity.
