How many chemotherapy treatments are needed for early stage lymphoma

Early stage lymphoma refers to stage I and II lymphoma. Stage I and II lymphoma is stratified into low risk, intermediate risk and high risk in combination with the stratification of risk factors. If it is a low-risk lymphoma, such as normal lactate dehydrogenase, β2-microglobulin is not high, and the patient’s age is relatively young, PET-CT review can be done after 2-4 rounds of chemotherapy. If it is negative chemotherapy can be stopped and an observation strategy can be adopted. If PET-CT is positive, chemotherapy needs to be continued or added with radiotherapy. Therefore, early stage lymphoma requires 2-4 rounds of chemotherapy, and then combined with the results of the midterm examination, we can choose whether to continue chemotherapy or sequential radiotherapy, as well as the strategy of stopping the drug for observation.
