A burr in the lung is an imaging manifestation, especially a lobulated and ill-defined burr sign should be highly alert to the possibility of malignancy. If the lesion is close to the hilum and belongs to the central type, bronchoscopic extraction of lung tissue for pathological examination should be performed promptly to clarify the nature of the lesion. If the lesion is located in the periphery of the lung and belongs to peripheral type, percutaneous puncture lung biopsy should be performed to clarify the nature of the lesion. Clinically, once there is a burr sign in the lung, a prompt visit to the hospital should be made to clarify the diagnosis and provide symptomatic treatment.
