The patient’s physical pathology and pathogenic conditions are consistent with the signs of taking the two drugs. If the patient has symptoms of kidney yin deficiency, liver qi stagnation and spleen deficiency, the two drugs can be taken together. Symptoms of kidney yin deficiency are heart trouble, insomnia, and heat in the palms of the hands and feet, and some patients may experience hot flashes and night sweats.
