Depending on the age of the patient, the duration of the disease, and the degree of the disease, the time to regulate qi deficiency well varies.
Qi deficiency includes the deficiency of yuan qi, zong qi and wei qi, as well as the weakening of the qi’s functions of promotion, warmth, defense, fixation (consolidation) and qiization, which results in the low or declining activity of certain functions of the body, and the decline of the ability to resist diseases and other debilitating phenomena. It is mostly related to poor physical quality, prolonged illness, fatigue, dietary factors and so on.
Clinical manifestations of qi deficiency are shortness of breath, reluctance to speak, fatigue, dizziness, spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the daytime, aggravated by sweating with slight movement), and aggravation of the above symptoms during activities as the main characteristics. Clinically, qi deficiency mainly includes lung qi deficiency, heart qi deficiency, spleen qi deficiency and kidney qi deficiency.
As for the treatment principles of qi deficiency, lung qi deficiency should replenish lung qi; heart qi deficiency should benefit qi and nourish the heart; spleen qi deficiency should replenish spleen qi; and kidney qi deficiency should benefit qi and replenish the kidneys. Formulas such as Lung Tonifying Soup, Seven Fortunes Drink, Six Gentlemen Soup and Great Tonic Yuan Decoction are often used for treatment respectively. Different individual differences and the severity of the disease will take different amounts of time to regulate.
If you have symptoms of qi deficiency, it is recommended to find a doctor to formulate an individualized diagnosis and treatment plan according to the specific condition, and standardize the treatment according to the course of treatment, and do not use medication on your own, so as not to delay the condition.
