In severe infections, the larvae will pass through the pulmonary capillaries, thus invading the lymph nodes, thyroid gland, spleen, brain, spinal cord and other places.
(2) Caused by adult worms: For children with intestinal ascariasis, there are usually nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, abdominal distension, loss of appetite, nocturnal teething, convulsions, and growth and development disorders. It can even cause intestinal perforation, appendicitis, intestinal obstruction and other symptoms.
