Alopecia areata is a very common clinical condition of hair loss in the skin and mucous membranes. An important factor in the development of this disease in patients with baldness is prolonged mental stress. However, it is not impossible for patients with baldness to recover, especially when they enter the recovery phase, when white, fine hairs appear in the bald areas. These hairs are often thin, soft and not very long. This tends to occur about 3-6 months after the onset of baldness, which is a very normal occurrence and patients should not be alarmed. Although, at the moment, the hairs look white, as time goes on, they will become darker and thicker, and gradually return to their normal hair form.
