There is no contraindication between chasteberry and cinnamon, usually can be boiled together to drink water, but both belong to the traditional Chinese medicine, it is recommended to follow the doctor’s instructions standardized medication.
Chasteberry has the effect of nourishing the liver and kidney, brightening the eyes and darkening the hair. It is used for liver and kidney yin deficiency (deficiency of yin in the liver and kidneys), dizziness and tinnitus, lumbar and knee weakness (a feeling of weakness in the lumbar and knee areas), premature whitening of the beard and hair, darkening of the eyes and lack of clarity, internal heat and thirst (internal fever accompanied by symptoms such as overeating and excessive drinking and urination), and tidal fever of the bones (a bout of fever with a feeling of heat penetrating outward from the inside of the bones).
Gui Yuan, or longan meat, has the effects of tonifying the heart and spleen (tonifying the heart and spleen with tonic drugs), nourishing the blood and calming the mind (stabilizing the mind and soothing the emotions by nourishing the blood). It is used for deficiency of qi and blood, palpitation (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic), palpitations (violent heartbeat, panic), forgetfulness and insomnia, blood deficiency and atrophy.
