Conductive deafness and sensorineural deafness have different sites of occurrence, etiology and treatment. 1. Site of occurrence: Conductive deafness occurs in the outer ear, middle ear sound transmission device; occurs in the inner ear of the cochlea spiral apparatus and spiral ganglion to the brainstem cochlear nucleus for sensorineural deafness. 2. Etiology: common causes of conductive deafness include inflammation of the external auditory canal, external auditory canal tumor, otitis media, tympanic membrane perforation, auditory ossicular chain deformity. Sensorineural deafness is related to drug poisoning, heredity, autoimmunity and certain systemic diseases. 3. Treatment: Conductive deafness is mainly based on the cause of the corresponding hearing reconstruction surgery, those who do not want to undergo surgical treatment can be fitted with appropriate hearing aids. Sensory deafness can be treated with medication, hearing aids and cochlear implants. Deaf patients should go to the hospital in a timely manner to improve the examination, to clarify the cause of deafness to give targeted treatment.
