Hyperthyroidism is the abbreviation of hyperthyroidism. Patients with hyperthyroidism can be treated with antithyroid drugs, radioactive iodine and surgery. 1. Antithyroid drugs: including thiourea and imidazole, are the basic treatment of hyperthyroidism. It is suitable for mild and moderate patients; pregnant women, elderly and other people who are not suitable for surgery; the preparatory stage before surgery and iodine 131 treatment; people who have relapsed after surgery and are not suitable for iodine 131 treatment; and patients with moderately to severely active thyroid-related ophthalmopathy. 2. Radiation iodine: suitable for patients with thyroid enlargement of more than two degrees; allergy to antithyroid drugs; relapse after drug or surgery; hyperthyroidism combined with heart disease; hyperthyroidism with leukopenia, thrombocytopenia or thrombocytopenia; combined with liver, kidney and other organs’ function damage; contraindication to surgery. 3. Surgery: It is suitable for patients with significant enlargement of the thyroid gland and pressure symptoms; moderate or severe hyperthyroidism, ineffective long-term medication, or recurrence after stopping medication or inability to insist on taking medication; retrosternal goiter; fine-needle aspiration cytology confirmed thyroid cancer or suspected malignant changes; pregnant patients with ineffective treatment of antithyroid medication or allergy, and the surgery needs to be carried out in the T2 stage of pregnancy (4~6 months). Patients with hyperthyroidism should go to the hospital and receive standardized treatment under the guidance of a doctor.
