What are the symptoms of adrenal tumor?

Adrenal tumors are complicated because adrenal gland is an endocrine organ of human body, secreting hormones such as adrenaline and dopamine, which are powerful and different tumors in different locations show different symptoms. The typical symptoms of adrenal tumor are: 1. Cortisolism: Patients are caused by adrenal cortex hyperplasia or tumor, mostly presenting somatic obesity, round face, increased fat behind neck and both shoulders, thin skin, hairy, purple lines in armpits, both sides of lower abdomen and thighs, patients with high blood pressure, weakness, back and leg pain. Female patients show typical symptoms such as amenorrhea or menstrual disorders and osteoporosis. 2, gonadal anomalies: caused by cortical tumors, divided into premature genital enlargement, female pseudohermaphroditism, female masculinization. 3. Aldosteronism: increased blood pressure, dizziness, headache, fatigue, blurred vision, irritability, thirst, muscle weakness, and imbalance of water-electrolyte balance. 4.Pheochromocytoma: mainly manifests as elevated blood pressure and changes in basal metabolism. Persistent elevated blood pressure is often accompanied by dizziness, headache, chest tightness, chest pain, panic, blurred vision, nervousness, anxiety and other symptoms. 5. Other malignant tumors are mostly accompanied by symptoms such as wasting, weakness, loss of appetite and night sweats. The symptoms of adrenal tumor also depend on the size of the tumor. Some small adrenal tumors, which are not highly functional, may not have obvious clinical symptoms; some tumors are larger and will have surrounding pressure symptoms. If the adrenal tumor is highly functional, it will have some clinical symptoms caused by the release of abnormal hormones, which have various manifestations and are related to the secreted hormones. No matter what clinical symptoms adrenal tumor has, the diagnosis mainly relies on imaging and endocrine examination, and the confirmation relies on pathological examination, and active treatment is required after the diagnosis is clear to have good effect.
