What tests should be done for early cirrhosis

To determine early cirrhosis, physical examination, ultrasound and other imaging tests, laboratory tests such as liver function, liver tissue biopsy and other pathological tests should be carried out. 1. Physical examination: in early cirrhosis, there may be pressure pain or knocking pain in liver area, and sometimes the enlarged spleen can be touched. 2. Imaging examination: in early cirrhosis, ultrasound or CT or other imaging examination suggests cirrhosis or portal hypertension: such as splenomegaly, portal vein diameter ≥1.3cm. 3. Laboratory examination: early cirrhosis liver function examination can see albumin decrease, coagulation function abnormality. If accompanied by hypersplenism, platelet count can be reduced. 4. Pathological examination of liver: Pathological examination of liver tissue biopsy is the gold standard for diagnosing early cirrhosis, which can understand whether there is hepatic fibrosis and the degree of hepatic fibrosis development, but pathological examination of liver is an invasive operation, which needs to be evaluated cautiously with the help of doctor. If the results of the above tests are abnormal, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time to clarify the diagnosis with the help of a doctor and carry out targeted treatment or therapy to avoid delaying the condition.
