Can children with albinism be cured?

Albinism is a group of single-gene genetic disorders caused by mutations in genes related to pigmentation, resulting in a failure to synthesize melanin normally. What can be done is to protect the skin from sunlight and ultraviolet radiation, which can cause sunburn or chronic photodamage, such as malignant tumors of the skin. The main treatment is symptomatic treatment, such as nystagmus in albinos, which can be treated by ophthalmology, including surgery. If acute sunburn occurs on the skin, it can be treated as heliodermatitis; if skin cancer occurs locally, it should be treated in hospital in time.
