What to do if your wisdom teeth become inflamed during pregnancy

If you normally have wisdom teeth that are regularly inflamed and your dentist examines you and believes that this wisdom tooth should be removed, you should address the problem before you get pregnant. Some people who have not been treated before or have no symptoms before and develop inflammation of the wisdom teeth after pregnancy are also recommended to go to the dentist for treatment. The dentist will try to do conservative treatments such as topical anti-inflammatory medications in this case, and try to maintain the problem until after the delivery of the baby. If the problem of wisdom teeth has become more serious and cannot be controlled even by medication or if the wisdom teeth have been damaged so badly that they have to be extracted, they will need to be treated. At this point, the obstetrician and dentist will then be consulted to choose the appropriate method to deal with the inflamed wisdom teeth.
