Is it possible to misdiagnose a pulmonary nodule by angiography

Usually clinical misdiagnosis of pulmonary nodules by angiographic shadow is possible.
1. If plain radiography suggests nodular shadows, consider vascular shadows, which can be differentiated by chest-enhanced CT, which is able to detect lesions in the body in a more intuitive way. Vascular shadows tend to travel with the bronchi and can be shown on multiple tomograms; while pulmonary nodules can be seen in any location and may have irregular margins and calcification.
2. Lung nodules need to be reviewed regularly. If there are obvious changes in the size, shape and density of lung nodules, the possibility of malignant lesions is highly suspected. Further examination is needed to clarify the nature.
Angiography is possible to be misdiagnosed as lung nodules. It is recommended to go to the hospital, combined with the imaging doctor’s analysis to guide the treatment.
