What’s wrong with a high platelet count?

High platelet pressures can be caused by physiologic elevations, severe dehydration, and thrombocytosis.
1. Physiologic increase: In normal people, platelet pressure is low in the morning and may increase in the afternoon. In female patients, platelet pressure may increase after menstruation. It may also increase after daily exercise.
2. Severe dehydration: When the body is severely dehydrated and not rehydrated or rehydrated in time, the blood will be significantly concentrated, which in turn will cause a relative increase in platelet pressure.
3. Thrombocytosis: high platelet pressure is mainly due to the increase in the number of platelets, primary thrombocythemia is a myeloproliferative disease, there will be an abnormal and sustained increase in the number of platelets, which may lead to an increase in platelet pressure.
When the patient has high platelet pressure, it is recommended to go to the hospital for examination and diagnosis in time, and choose the corresponding treatment under the guidance of the doctor.
