What to do about facial eczema

Facial eczema is usually treated with general therapy and medication, and can also be treated with physical therapy.
1. General treatment: avoid excessive scratching of the affected area, because scratching is easy to cause secondary infection, and avoid contact with allergic substances, a light diet, do not eat stimulating food, and do not drink alcohol.
2. Drug therapy: when the lesions are not oozing, you can use tacrolimus ointment and other drugs for treatment; when the lesions are oozing seriously, you can use boric acid solution and other wet compresses; at the same time, you can take antihistamines orally, such as cetirizine, loratadine, etc.; in serious cases, you should apply glucocorticosteroid drugs under the guidance of doctors, such as prednisone tablets and so on.
3. Physiotherapy: In the course of treatment, you can also cooperate with physiotherapy, such as ultraviolet radiation (UVA irradiation, narrow-wave UVB irradiation, etc.), which has a better effect on stubborn chronic eczema.
During the treatment, it is necessary to follow the doctor’s guidance, safe application of topical as well as oral medication, do not take medication without authorization, to prevent serious adverse reactions.
