Is breast BI-RADS category 4B serious?

Breast BI-RADS 4B is a more serious condition that should be treated as soon as possible and further pathological examination should be performed to determine whether the lump is benign or malignant before symptomatic treatment. Breast BI-RADS is a common clinical imaging grading method for breast nodules or lumps, mostly for ultrasound or mammogram mammography. If the ultrasound or mammogram of a breast nodule returns a BI-RADS 4B grade, it indicates that the nodule has some possibility of malignancy, in other words, the test is suspected of being malignant. The BI-RADS4B is divided into three levels, A, B and C, with a progressively higher likelihood of malignancy. Clinically, the BI-RADS4B level means that the malignancy is suspected to be higher, so it is necessary to go to a regular hospital for general surgery or breast surgery for surgical removal of the lump or lump puncture as soon as possible, and pathological examination to clarify the nature of the lump, and if the pathology returns malignancy, breast cancer surgery is required.
