Is it normal to have 29 red blood cells in your urine?

Urine erythrocyte 29 is not normal.
Normal values for urine erythrocyte test: average 0-3 per HP for slide method. microscopic hematuria is defined as >3 red blood cells per high magnification field of view in centrifuged precipitated urine, therefore, urine erythrocyte 29 is diagnostic of microscopic hematuria. Hematuria is mostly seen in the following cases:
1. Functional hematuria: healthy people who usually exercise little, suddenly increase the amount of exercise may lead to exercise hematuria.
2. Urological diseases: such as acute and chronic glomerulonephritis, IgA nephropathy, interstitial nephritis, tuberculosis, tumors, polycystic kidneys, urethral diverticulum, and so on.
3. Systemic diseases: such as sepsis, epidemic hemorrhagic fever, thrombocytopenic purpura, hemophilia, renal artery embolism, renal vein thrombosis and so on.
4. Drugs: such as sulfonamides, mannitol, etc. may cause renal tubular damage leading to hematuria; cyclophosphamide can cause hemorrhagic cystitis; heparin overdose can also appear hematuria.
When hematuria occurs, it is important to consult a doctor for further diagnosis and treatment in order to avoid delaying the condition.
