High anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibodies are usually seen in various diseases with joint damage, especially in various types of arthritis, and are particularly specific in the diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis. Anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibodies, which are diagnostic as well as sensitive for rheumatoid arthritis, and anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibodies, can be used as an early diagnostic indicator for rheumatoid arthritis. Anti-CCP antibodies can also be seen in other joint inflammatory conditions, such as gouty arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and even in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus with joint damage. Persistent positive anti-CCP antibodies are highly significant for patients and usually indicate a progressive increase in joint aggression.
