According to TCM, the main causes of spermatorrhea include heart-kidney disharmony (heart fire and kidney yin deficiency, dysfunction of the physiological functions of the heart and kidneys), dampness-heat underflow, heart-spleen deficiency (weakness of the heart and spleen), and renal seminal fluid deficiency, among which renal seminal fluid deficiency includes renal yin deficiency, renal yang deficiency, and renal yin-yang dual deficiency. This formula is not recommended for non-yin and yang deficiency types. Adverse effects of this formula are not clear, and abstain from sexual intercourse while taking it.
