Itching around the breast does not exclude the possibility of breast cancer and further examination is needed. Most of the symptoms of early breast cancer are not obvious, often local symptoms such as breast lumps, abnormal breast skin, nipple overflow, abnormal nipple or areola are dominant. In the middle and late stages of breast cancer, cachexia may appear, which may be accompanied by loss of appetite, anorexia, emaciation, weakness, anemia and fever.
In addition, itchy breasts are also related to clothing, environment, and changes in hormone levels. Itchy breasts may also be associated with eczema-like carcinoma of the breast, which is an intraductal carcinoma of the breast under the nipple, and eczema-like carcinoma may coexist with breast cancer.
