Irbesartan Hydrochlorothiazide Tablets are to be taken orally, on an empty stomach or with a meal. The usual starting and maintenance dose is 1 tablet each time, once daily. It may be increased to 2 tablets once daily depending on the condition. Irbesartan Hydrochlorothiazide Tablets is an antihypertensive combination. It is used for the treatment of essential hypertension. Patients whose blood pressure is not effectively controlled with Irbesartan or Hydrochlorothiazide alone can be treated with this drug. Its common adverse effects include dizziness, tachycardia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abnormal urination, fatigue, and elevated urea chloride, creatinine, and creatine kinase.
